For the third year in a row, Dansgroep Haarlem will be participating in Dansdagen Haarlem (April 10-12, 2026). During the festival, our dancers will present the new full-length triptych Helix '26 at De Schuur on April 12 at 6:30 PM.
Artistic director Haya Maëla developed Helix '26 especially for this edition. The performance focuses on connection: between generations, styles, dance makers, dancers, and audiences.
The programme consists of three choreographies. Haya Maëla is working closely with choreographer Constantino on a new group choreography Tegenpool, supplemented with two special duets: the intimate duet Timepiece (with live saxophone by Maas van Gogh) and a reprise of Grains of Noise. The latter will also be enriched with live music.
Helix ’26 is performed by the dancers of Dansgroep Haarlem.
The premiere of Helix ’26 is on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Theater de Schuur. With this performance, Dansgroep Haarlem once again contributes to Haarlem as a vibrant dance city.
