Dance is my creative outlet

Being on stage is one of my greatest hobbies. I've always been on stage. I learned lines, rehearsed, and performed, but at some point I stopped. Shortly after graduating, I realized I was missing something and started dancing. Dance became my creative outlet, and I soon joined Dansgroep Haarlem. The combination of expressing what you want to say through movement and collaborating on a piece is what makes dancing so rewarding for me.

Dancing with Dansgroep Haarlem is a unique opportunity to learn to move better, create more freely, and experience being in front of an audience. That's exactly what I need.

Besides being a dancer, I'm also secretary of the board of the Danskunst Haarlem foundation. Here, I can contribute to the broad outline of the projects we carry out and contribute to their development. Contributing to the broad outline also adds a new dimension to my work as a dancer.
